Über Bewusst Kaufen

Bewusstkaufen.at ist eine Initiative des Bundesministeriums für Klimaschutz (BMK) und das erste Webportal für nachhaltigen Konsum in Österreich. Mit rund 200 nachhaltigen Gütezeichen in der Label-Datenbank („Label-Kompass“), rund 50 Ratgebern, einem interaktiven Saisonkalender und laufenden redaktionellen Beiträgen, Interviews und Blogbeiträgen von Expert:innen zu Nachhaltigkeitsthemen bietet es Konsument:innen eine umfangreiche Informations-Plattform und zeigt umwelt- und klimafreundliche Handlungsalternativen auf.

Langfristiges Ziel der Initiative „Bewusst Kaufen – klimafreundlich leben“ ist es, auf nachhaltige Konsum-Themen (biologisch, regional, saisonal, fair gehandelt, energieeffizient, umweltschonend, langlebig) aufmerksam zu machen und somit eine ressourcen- und klimaschonende Lebensweise zu unterstützen.

Label-Kompass bietet Orientierung im Label-Dschungel

Wer beim Einkauf sicher gehen will, dass nachhaltige Produkt-Zertifizierungen auch halten, was sie versprechen, dem hilft der Label-Kompass auf www.bewusstkaufen.at/label-kompass. Der Online-Service der Initiative „Bewusst Kaufen – klimafreundlich leben“ listet rund 200 Labels im österreichischen Handel und gibt Hintergrundinformationen dazu.

Bewusst Kaufen informiert über aktuelle nachhaltige Themen, Projekte und Innovationen und bietet umfassende Informationen, um Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten bei einer nachhaltigen Konsumentscheidung und einem nachhaltigen Lebensstil zu unterstützen. Zudem werden regelmäßig Interviews und Blogbeiträge mit Expertinnen und Experten zu Nachhaltigkeitsthemen veröffentlicht sowie Umfragen und Quizzes durchgeführt.


About „Bewusst Kaufen“

„Buy consciously – live climate-friendly” (www.bewusstkaufen.at) is an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action (BMK) and the first web portal for sustainable consumption in Austria. With around 200 sustainable labels in the label database („label compass”), 50 online guides, an interactive seasonal calendar and ongoing editorial articles, interviews and blog posts by experts on sustainability issues, it offers consumers a comprehensive information platform and shows environmentally and climate-friendly alternatives of action.

The long-term goal of the initiative is to draw attention to sustainable consumption issues (organic, regional, seasonal, fair trade, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, long-lasting) and thus to support a resource-saving and climate-friendly way of life.
